Answers before your next election

Practical answers about access, privacy, testing, payments, and results.

What is Votes.ng?

Votes.ng is an online election service for organizations. Prepare a ballot, add eligible voters, try Test mode, and launch a paid Live election.

Learn more

Who can use Votes.ng?

Associations, nonprofits, cooperatives, schools, clubs, religious organizations, boards, and companies can use it for straightforward organization elections.

Learn more

Can our organization use it outside Nigeria?

Eligible voters can participate online from different locations. Review the supported payment currency on Pricing and check your organization’s governing requirements before launch.

Learn more

Can voters use a phone?

The ballot is designed for modern phones, tablets, and computers. Test the devices and connections your voters use.

Learn more

Do voters need to create an account?

No organizer account is needed to cast a ballot. Eligible voters use the access provided for their election.

Learn more

How do voters get access?

Use a personal voting link or the supported email and voting-code flow. Keep personal access private.

Learn more

Can the same person vote twice?

Each eligible voter record can successfully submit at most one Live ballot. The organizer must also check the voter list so one person is not added as multiple eligible records.

Learn more

Are choices private?

Ballot choices are kept separate from named participation. Organizer views do not show a direct named voter-to-choice record. Small-group totals can still allow inference.

Learn more

Can an organizer see how a named person voted?

The ordinary organizer interface shows participation without a direct list of named choices.

Learn more

Can I test before paying?

Yes. Test mode is free and its ballots remain separate from Live voting.

Learn more

When do I pay?

Pay once for each Live election when you are ready to launch. You can prepare and test first.

Learn more

How is the price calculated?

Pricing is based on eligible voters, rather than final turnout, and the supported currency for the selected country. Contact us for more than 5,000 eligible voters.

Learn more

Can I import a voter list?

Yes. Use CSV import or manage voters manually. Review invalid entries, field mapping, and duplicates before insertion.

Learn more

Can I include candidate information?

Yes. Add concise candidate or option information in the builder and use a consistent format for fair comparison.

Learn more

What happens when voting closes?

Finalize the aggregate result and decide whether to publish its result record using the supported workflow and your governing rules.

Learn more

Can results be checked later?

The supported published result record includes a verification process. Publishing it is a deliberate organizer action.

Learn more

What does a receipt reveal?

It can confirm a recorded submission without revealing the candidate choices through the receipt check.

Learn more

Can Votes.ng run government elections?

No. Votes.ng is for private organization elections. Government and public political elections are outside its current scope.

Learn more

What voter information should we upload?

Use only the supported name and email details needed for the voter and access. Exclude unrelated student, employee, financial, or beneficiary information.

Learn more

How can I contact support?

Email [email protected] or call +234 915 019 6438. Keep your password, personal voting access, and choices private.
