Universities and campus groups

Online voting for university and campus organizations

Run elections for student associations, faculties, clubs, and alumni bodies with clear eligibility and access on campus or away.

What usually makes this election difficult

A campus directory can contain several different electorates. An association, faculty, and society may each need a separate approved list.

Off-campus students and placement participants need enough notice to vote remotely. State the deadline clearly and provide the same candidate information to everyone.

Larger rosters make contact mistakes harder to repair late. Review CSV mappings and duplicate warnings before adding voters.

A simple workflow

  1. Define the campus group and its eligible electorate.
  2. Approve the roster and review CSV import warnings before insertion.
  3. Prepare nominations and ballot settings for that group.
  4. Test access with on-campus and remote sample voters.
  5. Confirm the eligible-voter price band, then launch and communicate the result.

What Votes.ng helps you control

Separate elections can hold their own ballot and voter list. CSV import helps review larger rosters, while individual access avoids treating a campus mailing list as an unrestricted ballot invitation.

Prepare positions and candidate information, review eligible voters manually or by CSV, and try the complete journey in Test mode. Each eligible voter uses a personal voting link or their email and voting code. The organizer can follow participation without a named list of ballot choices.

When Live voting closes, finalize the aggregate result and choose whether to publish its result record. A voting receipt can confirm a recorded submission without showing candidate choices.

Common questions

Can different groups run separate elections?

Organizers can prepare distinct elections with their own voter lists and ballots. This does not provide shared multi-administrator management.

Can we import a CSV?

Yes. Map the fields, check invalid entries and duplicates, and review the ready records before adding them.

What if there are more than 5,000 voters?

Contact Votes.ng to discuss the next step before launch. See Pricing for the published bands.
