Online voting for internal company elections
Run employee representative and committee elections with defined staff eligibility and private choices on phones or computers.
What usually makes this election difficult
A full employee export contains data an election does not need. Prepare an election-specific list instead of importing salaries, identity documents, or performance records.
Voting rights may be limited to one location, department, or employee group. Resolve those boundaries before access is sent.
Reporting relationships can create pressure around choices. Explain what participation means and make clear that managers do not receive a direct named choice record.
A simple workflow
- Confirm the purpose and eligible employee group under company policy.
- Prepare only the name and email fields needed for voting access.
- Approve candidate information and communicate the privacy process.
- Test with sample staff on phones and desktop browsers.
- Provide individual access and communicate the finalized result through the approved channel.
What Votes.ng helps you control
An approved staff roster limits access to the intended group. Private ballot handling separates a recorded choice from named participation, so turnout reporting does not become a record of employee preferences.
Prepare positions and candidate information, review eligible voters manually or by CSV, and try the complete journey in Test mode. Each eligible voter uses a personal voting link or their email and voting code. The organizer can follow participation without a named list of ballot choices.
When Live voting closes, finalize the aggregate result and choose whether to publish its result record. A voting receipt can confirm a recorded submission without showing candidate choices.
Companies launch checklist
- Eligible department or staff group defined
- Unrelated employment information excluded
- Privacy explanation shared with staff
- Access tested away from organizer screens
- Result recipients and support contact agreed
Votes.ng supports internal organization elections. It is not an employee survey platform; use a survey product for feedback questionnaires. Confirm employment and governance requirements separately.
Common questions
Can voting be limited to a department?
Add only the approved eligible staff for this specific election. Votes.ng does not automatically synchronize an employee directory.
Can managers see choices?
Organizer views do not show a direct named voter-to-choice list. Small-group results still require care.
Can we run an employee survey?
No. This workflow is for elections with defined voters and ballots, rather than employee feedback surveys.
